CANNED CRAB
The extraction of crab meat is a complicated process. Even though extraction can be done by machine, we prefer to clean the crab by hand. In this way we can insure optimum quality and taste for our products. Among our assortment of canned crab you will find Crab Claw Meat (pure and exclusive claw meat) and Crab Paté (perfect on bread or as a seasoning/base in soups).

CRAB-IN-THE-SHELL
Our crab-in-the-shell is also hand cleaned. The shells are steamed and sterilized before use to avoid bacteria. This is unique to Sigurd Løkeland's crabs. Fresh crab-in-the-shell is good for 5 days and is packed in plastic wrap. Frozen crab-in-the-shell is frozen fresh, vacuum packed and lasts for 9 months. Our crab-in-the-shell is sold in stores, via caterers/wholesalers, or can be ordered directly through us.

BOILED CRAB
The season for boiled fresh crab lasts from August to November. We boil our crab in coarse sea-salt which enhances the taste sensation. We open the shell and check the quality of every single crab to insure the highest standard. Frozen boiled crab is vacuum packed before sale. The crab is sold in stores, outdoor markets, or can be ordered directly from us.

RAW CRAB
Raw crab is a popular product for restaurants. These are shipped live in wooden crates with seaweed and kelp which keeps the crab moist. The crab is good for 4 days from shipment. Our raw crabs can be enjoyed at one of the many restaurants who do business with us, or can be ordered directly.
